How were the holidays for you? Most of us are lucky to have our family around us to enjoy during the holidays.
What hobbies do you have that keep you busy? Barb and Darrell Stidham quilt. Some do other crafts. Lily Jane does needlework. Anna Lee has her trophies. Pat Franklin's Morris and Sara Jane's Bob are golfers. Some like to travel or have another house at the lake or in the South to travel to.
We are sorry to report that Irene Bates passed away last week. She had been ill for some time. I believe she lived in Illinois.
Rex Polly has been in the hospital recently and Sara Jane has had to go back to the Hospital this week.
I hope everyone received their postcard. We heard from a few of you. We are excited about our birthday party. Larry B. is cooking up chili and hot dogs. Bring your own drinks and whatever else you think would be good with Larry's hot dogs.
That same weekend there is a reunion in Lexington. Should we set up a carpool from there to General Butler? Would some of you be leaving your WHS spouse in Lexington and driving over to General Butler? Billie Steve had mentioned that her son is bringing her and her sister to Lexington. But she needs to come on over to our birthday party. Would someone who plans to attend both events be willing to coordinate transportation for those who might need a ride that day?
