Did your parents ever explain to you about Redbud Winter, Dogwood Winter and Blackberry Winter? We seem to be in an extended redbud winter cause the tips of the dogwoods haven't turned dark yet. Did they explain what order they came in or how to tell it was time for them. I suppose we will complain as much about the hot, humid summer as we do the frigid winters, the March Winds, the April Showers but we do seem to enjoy the May flowers so much.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to Charlotte Stansberry. Hopefully, she will be out of the hospital soon.
Sarah Jane sent a floral arrangement from the Class of 1958 for the death of Carl Pennington. Have you sent in your donation to Sarah Jane? We are getting to a certain age, you know. Those arrangements may go out more often than we would want!!!
