On July 16th, some of the 1958 Yellowjacket classmates met for lunch at the Pine Mountain Grill in Whitesburg.
We thought it was so good to spend time with some of our classmates we had not seen in a very long time.
Those who attended were as follows: Frank Perry and Gearldine, Ken Collins, Hugh Holbrook, Carol Hunsaker Adams, Lucille Bates Polly, James Adams, Harry Combs, Raymond Thomas and Joyce, Dan Mitchell Polly, Ernestine Craft Spangler, Keith Owens, Ella Yonts Sparks, Anna Lee Sexton Thomas, Christine Branham Altman, Johnnie Reed Brown and his wife, Larry Britton, Bob and Sarah Jane Hall Unterreiner; these classmates were joined by their principal, Mr. Jack Burkich. Lunch was enlivened with some good stories and good visits.
We decided as we get to a certain age (whatever that age might be!!!) we should get together each and every year. We are wanting to get together in May of 2011 in Whitesburg. Talk to some of our classmates and help us get the planning started.
